Avant-garde lyrics, grungy and melodramatic sound… you know who we’re talking about?
Robin and The Backstabbers, one of the most famous alternative rock bands in Romania, invites you to a concert at FABER, on July 12.
Pop-rock, electro, indie, alternative, their music doesn’t boil down to one genre. Through their experimental side, they managed to bring a new breath to alternative music. And now they are preparing a new electrifying show, in their characteristic style, to bring to Timișoara.
Come to the concert on July 12 and let yourself be carried away by the duet between the poetry and the specific sound of Robin and The Backstabbers.
We open the doors and the bar at 19:30 and the concert starts at 20:00. We turn the music down at 10 p.m., but we can stay and chat until 11 p.m.
Children under 14 will enter for free, but only accompanied by an adult.
Event created together with EpicenterHUB and supported by Banca Transilvania, Azur, Hamilton

Gathered in 2010 by lead singer and composer Andrei Robin Proca after a solitary week-long journey through the Călimani Mountains, Robin and The Backstabbers describe their music as “melodramatic pop”. They didn’t become a cover band after Paul Simon’s Graceland album, as they imagined at the beginning, but they managed to take the Romanian alternative music scene by storm with their melange of eclectic rock and modernist, cryptic lyrics. No one leaves their concerts upset.
With 8 #1 singles on Radio Guerrilla and City FM, the debut album Bacovia Overdrive, vol. I: Stalingrad was among the best-selling albums in the first month after its release (Cărturești and iTunes Romania charts), propelling the band into the attention of the public eager for a new breath in alternative music.
