In the third public meeting in the series of those organized by the Individual Psychotherapy Cabinet Dragu Mircea, we will offer the public interested in mental health topics not only theoretical information, but also practical tools for increasing emotional resilience in crisis situations.
Topics covered:
– What is stress, how can it help us grow, and when does it become a burden?
– Can stress make us sick?
– What is emotional resilience and how can we “train” it cognitively & behaviorally?
– The differences between stress and trauma and how we adapt to them.
– Cognitive flexibility and behavioral (dis)adaptation.
The event will last two hours and will be interactive.

About the speaker:
– A psychologist by profession, he worked for many years in civic organizations, mainly in mental health projects.
– Since 2008, he has been working as a psychotherapist (training in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy; specialized in individual therapy for adults) in a private mental health service center.
– Collaborator and supporter of several organizations in the area of complementary education. He writes for Golan magazine, from time to time elsewhere.
– In the activity outside the office, he promotes evidence-based psychology and tries to dismantle myths and prejudices related to psychotherapy.
