Between August 1st and 3rd, we’ll be in I. C. Brătianu Park, inviting you to talk about a lesser-known chapter of Timișoara’s history: the chemical industry.
If you’ve worked in a factory or grew up hearing stories from places like AZUR, Solventul, Spumotim, Procter & Gamble / Chimica, Victoria / Guban, the Margina Vinegar Factory, or other local enterprises, we invite you to share your story. We’re interested in everything: memories, photos, objects, tools, life stories – anything that remains from that time.
- There will be a video interview corner – you can be filmed sharing your story, if you’d like.
- You can also donate objects or images to the archive.
- Or just stop by to meet us, sit in the shade, and chat.
All contributions – text, image, audio, video – will become part of an online digital archive. A selection will be featured this fall in the Design Signals exhibition, alongside other materials documented by the FABER team. All borrowed items will be returned after the exhibition ends in November.
We want to build a living archive together – one where personal voices give meaning to the city’s industrial history.
📩 If you can’t make it, you can always send your story to comunicare@faber.ro or message us on Facebook or Instagram.
