The Lost Music project, created by Muzicon and Noi Re-creăm, proposes a recovery of the history of Timisoara music from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s, through a series of workshops, concerts, podcasts and exhibitions that will shed light on the people, places and music of those times in close relation with The city of Timisoara.
On May 24 we start the series of activities within this project through a workshop that will be the occasion for the meeting between the founders of two representative electronic music festivals for Timișoara in the late 90s and early 2000s: Florin Unguraș “UFO” (TM Base) and Dudu Radoslav (Anonymous TM/ 48h). Designer Ovidiu Hrin, founding member of the Made in TM initiative, will be with them.
We will discuss the context in which the Timișoara electronic music scene emerged and developed, the peak of this movement and the current legacy of what the TM Base and 48h period meant.
