Textile Monster Blades

What happens to discarded clothes sent for recycling? These friendly monsters make sure our textile waste is transformed into something new. Made from repurposed materials, such as fabric scraps and found objects, the monster blades are not only fun and colorful but also hide exciting sensations to explore—tactile surfaces, textures, and sounds.

Alesia Cîdă works with sculpture, painting, collage, and fashion design, drawing inspiration from her special collection of “trash” gathered over the years. She is a graduate of London College of Fashion.
