A visual artist meets a contemporary poet in a free poster game with only one rule: the poem can be met, read, felt.
Between July 22 and August 30, contemporary poetry will be present in the public space in over 50 locations in Timișoara - public display boards, as well as in landmark places in the city, as part of the newest edition, Poster X Poem 5 Timișoara!
After editions and exhibitions in Bucharest, Chisinau or Brașov, Poster X Poem sets off for the first time to the west has the great pleasure to bring the public 20 new poem posters in exhibitions to be found, read and seen all over the city. 10 visual artists and 10 local contemporary poets have accepted our invitation for an edition entirely dedicated to Timisoara - in the summer of 2022 you will be able to see in the public space posters resulting from their collaboration:

This edition is also special because it included for the first time a module dedicated to emerging contemporary visual artists and poets - Poster X Poem Young. Following a call at the beginning of June, we selected, with the help of Alex Higyed and Ovidiu Hrin, 10 artists and 10 contemporary poets at the beginning of the journey, whose productions can also be admired until the end of the summer on the streets of Timisoara:

An interdisciplinary project started in 2020, Poster X Poem believes that the place of poetry is in the city among people. So far, 150 visual artists and contemporary poets have met in the poem posters from the PxP exhibitions on fences, walls and windows in Bucharest, Chisinau, Brasov or Vaslui.
