Connor Cook is a media artist and researcher from California, currently based in Amsterdam. Connor works primarily with game engines and other real-time software systems, transforming the technical operations of the machine into visceral, collective experiences. His work unravels the structural logic embedded in the digital and physical infrastructures that shape the world. He seeks to inhabit the machine and reshape it from the inside out to challenge the naturalized despotism of technological systems. He holds an MA in GEO—DESIGN from Design Academy Eindhoven and a BA in History of Art and Architecture from Harvard University. Currently, he is a tutor at both Design Academy Eindhoven and Antikythera, a research studio in the Philosophy of Technology at the Berggruen Institute in Los Angeles.
