What is drama therapy and how can theater help us in our personal development?

On Thursday, June 13, there will be a must-attend masterclass. During this meeting, actor Sebastian Dobrescu and psychotherapist Mircea Dragu will talk about the principles of drama therapy, exploring various ways of expression.
Alongside them on stage, students from 2 high schools in Timișoara will participate, who will be encouraged to share in a safe environment their own experiences and put into practice the knowledge they have acquired.

This show is part of the Superteen project: Speak your truth!

The project aims to integrate, through cultural-creative means, the psycho-emotional and social elements in the school curriculum, aspiring to the formation of a healthy, creative and interconnected educational environment. We aim to combine culture with psychoeducation by organizing drama therapy and oratory workshops with 2 separate groups of students from 2 high schools.

Superteen: Speak your truth! is part of the national cultural program "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is financed by the Power Station+ program | Creative schools, run by the Timișoara Project Center, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
