Bianca Schick is a designer, design researcher, and image creator based in Rotterdam. Her extensive practice includes multimedia projects, visual communication, collaborative performances, and design commissions. She is concerned with the politics of representation and is interested in how systems function and how mass media influences these systems. Over the past year, Bianca has worked on educational games, assisted in exhibition curation, and contributed to editing, graphic design, and organizing self-initiated events. She is also involved in the cultural residency and grassroots publishing collective "Paskamer," which is set to open soon.
She completed a research residency at the University of the Underground on the theme of "Horror," holds a Master’s in Contextual Design from Design Academy Eindhoven (NL), and a degree in painting and visual arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna (IT).
