Andreea Ana-Maria Pleșa (b. 1996) is a freelance fashion designer and university assistant at the Faculty of Arts and Design, West University of Timișoara. With a background in clothing and textile design and a PhD in visual arts, she has a particular interest in sustainable fashion. Her doctoral research, "Sustainable Clothing Design in the Consumer Society", promotes ecological practices by integrating technology to reduce pollution, while keeping the human element at the center of attention. She has collaborated with prestigious events such as the Feeric Fashion Week Festival (RO); Cracovia Fashion Week (PL); La Gaîté Lyrique Paris (FR); Eurofabrique (RO); Beira Interior University (PT), and Serbia Fashion Week (SRB). Her work has been published in journals and magazines such as Design and Art Papers, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Modic, and Alist. Andreea is dedicated to educating future designers about sustainability and raising public awareness of critical environmental issues in fashion. Through her teaching and research, she seeks to provide long-term sustainable design solutions that blend creativity with ethical practices.
