This year, we embarked on an adventure that we did not know where it would take us, with the simple thought of inspiring a better future, and the support of the community, your support has shown us that together we are an unstoppable force. But let's start from the beginning.

In May of this year, I found out about an extraordinary European program launched quite recently, namely the New European Bauhaus. The program comes as a creative and interdisciplinary initiative, which aims to create a meeting space for the design of new ways of life in which art, culture, social inclusion, science and technology intertwine. Values such as inclusion, sustainability and sustainability are very close to our hearts, so we wanted to support this program and get involved as much as possible in the projects developed.

Thus, it is not surprising that when the open call for the New European Bauhaus Awards was launched, we were eager to register. One of FABER's missions is to create sustainable communities for a better future both locally, nationally and internationally. The New European Bauhaus Awards recognize the variety of good practices and innovations across Europe and seek to financially support, but not only, bold initiatives that fight for change.

When we registered, the pre-selection of the winning projects was to be carried out through a public voting session, and here we put all our trust in the community we built around FABER. The FABER project - The Capacity Building participated in the category Buildings renovated in the spirit of circularity, and the project Embassy - building a community - in the category Reinvented places to meet and share. Thanks to your support, we managed to pass the pre-selection and position ourselves among the 60 finalist projects (from over 2000 from all over Europe). It was a special novelty for us and it was a sign that we are on the right track and we are taking the right steps towards a more sustainable way of life and co-creation.

The New European Bauhaus Awards ceremony took place on 16 September in Brussels at the Ateliers des Tanneurs, and the atmosphere of the event and the presence of representatives of all the finalist projects together brought us a ray of hope and hope. inspired us to continue working for the same common goal. Even though we are not on the list of the 20 winners, we are grateful to be part of this program along with dozens of other projects aimed at innovation and community development. For us, this project is just the beginning and urges us to continue to support local, regional and national efforts to build together.
